WHAT TO BRING:

Watch the weather forecast prior to your charter & dress accordingly, the below list is a guideline:***

  • Warm clothing (hooded sweatshirt or jacket in case there is a change in the weather);
  •  Raingear;
  •  Windbreaker;
  •  Lunch (sandwiches are best);
  •  Beverages (soft drinks and water) ;
  •  Sunglasses;
  •  Sunscreen;
  •  Hat;
  •  Camera;
  •  Binoculars (if you have them);
  •  Sea Sick Pills (take one hour before departure if you feel you will need them );
  • Boat shoes or sneakers, or sandals - PLEASE,  no black sole shoes!

***Billingsgate Charters will supply all fishing rods, bait and tackle for your trip ***


  Anglers will not be required to carry individual saltwater fishing permits since you will be fishing under the

permits maintained by us for the time you are fishing onboard our vessels.


 Additionally...

  • USCG Life Jackets are provided by Billingsgate Charters, unless you or anyone in your party prefer to bring their own.
  • USCG requires all children under 12 years of age must wear a life jacket at all times while underway.
  • All fish caught on your trip will be filleted, bagged and kept on ice for you at no additional cost. 
  • Leave your coolers in your car, bring down your food and drink in a backpacks or beach bags etc.,
  • We will have two bench style YETI coolers iced down for our guests.  One is for your food and drinks, the other is designated for your fish and lobsters.

  • Alcohol Policy: Beer and wine are allowed in moderation.  No hard liquor is allowed.   The Captain also reserves the right to
    terminate the trip immediately if anyone becomes intoxicated or uncontrollable, in this event absolutely no refund will be given.

  • Drug Policy: We have a ZERO TOLERANCE drug policy in accordance with the U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
    The trip will be immediately terminated.  There will be no refunds if this policy is violated and violators will be prosecuted
    under U.S.C.G. guidelines and Massachusetts General Laws.
